Choosing a Tsunami Bar®
Which Bar is Right For You?
The Tsunami Bar® series offers a comprehensive resistance training method designed to cover all aspects of strength and power development. To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to incorporate all of the bars into your training regimen. However, if a single bar addresses a specific need in your program, then one of these bars should be the perfect fit for you.
When choosing the right bar, it’s crucial to remember that the speed of movement has a greater impact on the forces generated by the bar than the weight itself. Research indicates that by moving the bar quickly, you can produce dynamic weight up to 3 to 5 times the static weight of the bar and plates. The objective is to move lighter weights at a faster pace in order to develop strong and powerful muscles.

Tsunami Bars®
The main Tsunami Bars® consist of the Speed Bar (formally known as Level 1 Bar), the Force Bar (formally known as Level 3 Bar) and the Max Bar (formally known as Level 5 Bar). These are the bars used by top athletes around the world for developing explosive power while significantly reducing injury.

Tsunami Bar® Speed
Previously known as the Level 1 Bar, this versatile barbell from the Tsunami Bar lineup boasts the broadest range of applications. Designed to provide increased oscillation and amplitude, it is the most effective tool for developing the elusive Type II fast-twitch muscle fibers. For speed exercises, the barbell works exceptionally well with a weight range of 30 to 70 pounds, and when used with the included spacer, it can handle up to 140 pounds.
Pair this exceptional bar with Tsunami Point of Attack Straps to perform the “Jammer” movement, making it the perfect addition to your workout regimen.
Tsunami Bar® Force
Previously known as the Level 3 Bar, this transitional barbell is ideal for strong lifters with impressive power output who want to reintegrate speed into their training. Designed for both explosive speed and power development, this barbell can support loads up to 270 pounds, making force development its primary feature. The lifter’s objective is to achieve dynamic loading and unloading through bar oscillation while progressively handling heavier loads.
Tsunami Bar® Max
Previously known as the Level 5 Bar, this is the most rigid bar in the lineup. The MAX Bar can be loaded up to 540 pounds in its current configuration. With heavier loads, the bar provides oscillation for stabilizer activation and dampening of soft tissue abrasion, making it much gentler on the joints during the transition between eccentric and concentric movements. This feature makes handling heavier loads more comfortable and manageable.

Tsunami Bar® Stiks
Tsunami Bar® Stiks are excellent not only for warm-up exercises but also for comprehensive body workouts in individual or group fitness settings. They are increasingly becoming an ideal rehabilitation tool for shoulder injuries. Enhance the stimulation by adding a pair of ½ lb. Soft Weights to the ends of the Multi Stiks, making them even more versatile and effective.
Multi Stik
Compact enough to fit in a golf bag, these portable tools are perfect for warming up your muscles before engaging in physical activities such as workouts, sports events, or hitting the golf course. By increasing blood flow and loosening up your muscles, they help reduce the risk of injuries and enhance your overall performance in any physical activity.
Multi Stik Plus/Magnum
The most popular Multi Stik is suitable for virtually anyone seeking general exercise or a pre-round/game warm-up. For a fantastic low-impact exercise program, use two of these Stiks and follow the Multi Stik video series. These lightweight Stiks have a soft feel, allowing for rapid movement and aiding in the development of quick, powerful muscles. This versatility makes them an excellent addition to any fitness routine.
Quick Stik
The Tsunami Bar® Quick Stik measures 56 inches in length and weighs 8 lbs. Typically used without any additional weight, these bars can be modified by attaching 1/2 lb or 1 lb ankle weights to the ends to alter the forces they generate. This adaptability allows for customized workouts and helps target specific muscle groups effectively.
